High-powered offenses put on a spectacular show when the Ohio Bobcats beat the Massachusetts Minutemen 58-50 on Saturday. The teams’ respective defensive units? Not so much.
The game featured more than 1,000 yards of offense producing over 100 points. Yet, the over/under for the game was only 54 points.
Ohio and UMass (0-6) traded scores for the game’s first three drives. The Minutemen opened the game with a 24-yard field goal to take a 3-0 lead. The Bobcats (4-1) took a 7-3 lead seven plays after that when quarterback Nathan Rourke rushed five-yards for a score.
