No matter how you look at it, the simple truth is Maleek Irons messed up.
But 2018 offers the chance for Ohio’s fifth-year senior running back to show that’s not who he is.
“Everyone makes mistakes. As long as you learn from them, you should be able to move on,” Irons said Monday as the Bobcats entered their second week of fall camp.

Irons’ last mistake, in terms of his status with the Bobcats, was a doozy. In January 2017, he was arrested and initially charged with resisting arrest, obstructing official business and driving under the influence following an alleged, early-morning hit-and-run incident in Athens.
