Ohio guard Cierra Hooks (with ball) was named the 2018 MAC Freshman of the Year on Tuesday, March 6. Hooks led Ohio in scoring, rebounds, steals and shooting percentage during the 2017-18 season. She became the third Bobcat in program history to win the award.
