Hockey: Crew joins Ohio staff as graduate assistant

Ohio added a new member to its coaching staff Thursday, one that is familiar to coach Sean Hogan.

The Bobcats hired J.J. Crew as a graduate assistant this week to add to the coaching staff. Crew played four years of college hockey at NCAA Division I Western Michigan, including the 2010-11 season when Hogan was with the Broncos as an assistant coach and video coordinator.

“Reuniting with a former coach of mine is an exciting opportunity,” Crew said in an Ohio Hockey press release. “I’ve learned a lot from Sean as a player and I’m looking forward to learning more from him as a coach.
