Former Ohio men’s basketball forward Maurice Ndour (Mbour, Senegal) signed with the NBA’s New York Knicks, the organization announced on July 14). Terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to a news release from the Knicks organization.
Ndour competed in the 2015 NBA Las Vegas Summer League for the Knicks, where he averaged 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.0 block, 1.0 steal and 28.3 minutes over five games – including four starts. He tallied a team-high 23 points (10-of-15) and six rebounds over 28 minutes to lead the Knicks to an 84-81 overtime victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on July 14, 2015.
