Football: Former Ohio offensive lineman signs with San Diego Chargers

Former Ohio offensive lineman Mike McQueen has signed with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent.

He signed just minutes after the 2016 NFL Draft had concluded on Saturday.

McQueen was Ohio’s starting left tackle last season, helping protect former Ohio quarterback Derrius Vick. McQueen was a part of a line who allowed 28 sacks.

He tweeted this after signing with the team:

Blessed to sign as a FA minutes after the draft was over! Can't wait to get to work in San Diego with @Chargers ud83dude4fud83cudffe pic.twitter.com/jBwz9rZjBh
