Nate Faanes can’t remember a time when he didn’t want to coach. Heck, you can’t find a time since he became an adult when he wasn’t.
Faanes might be the youngest full-time coach on Ohio’s staff, but he’s far from a novice. The Bobcats’ new linebackers coach has a full decade as a college football coach under his belt already, and has yet to hit his 30th birthday.
“I always knew I wanted to do it, I just had to figure out how to get it done,” Faanes said last month, after the Bobcats concluded a practice inside Walter Fieldhouse as part of their spring season.
