Roughly two weeks ago, when the Ohio Bobcat men’s basketball team escaped with a 75-67 win over the Tennessee State Tigers, head coach Saul Phillips played two freshmen late in the game when the Bobcats needed a spark. Those two freshmen – guard Jordy Dartis and forward Gavin Block – provided the boost Ohio needed to pull out a 75-67 win.
After the game, Phillips wasn’t surprised at how well the two played.
“If it would have surprised me, it would have been silly for me to leave them in so late,” Phillips said after the game.
