March is finally over, but there’s still just a bit of madness left to get through. Well, not really this year.
Seriously, what is the point of this giant, completely oversized tournament if nothing exciting is going to happen? Every single No. 1 seed made the final four.
Kudos to those programs and schools for pulling through, but that’s incredibly boring. Just throw the top four onto a football field and call it the playoffs. Wait, that’ll never work, you need 12.
Admittedly, this result in the tournament isn’t exactly a shocking one. The SEC was an utter juggernaut all year and were predicted to be from the beginning, fast forward and now we have three teams from the same conference in the final weekend of play.
