KENT, Ohio — Jimmy Hall wouldn’t call the Bobcats the dreaded ’S’ word.
But there was no doubt in his mind about which side was tougher.
“I wouldn’t say they were soft,” said Hall, Kent State’s power forward. “But I would say we’re the tougher team. That's what we're about.
“(Ohio) is a real skilled team,” he added. “We just knew we had to get it inside and go right after them.”
Hall had his second double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and four Golden Flashes reached double figures, as Kent State rode four-minute stretch of strong defense to an 89-82 win over the Bobcats inside the M.
