Antonio Campbell took a look, and decided to stay put.
Campbell, a junior forward on the Ohio University men’s basketball team and the 2016 Mid-American Conference Player of the Year, has withdrawn his name from consideration from the 2016 NBA Draft.
Ohio Athletics made the announcement Wednesday, one month after Campbell had declared himself draft eligible. Thanks to new NCAA guidelines, players can begin the draft process but are eligible to return to school if they do not sign with an agent or receive improper benefits.
Campbell has until May 25 to submit his paperwork to the NBA to make his return to the NCAA ranks official.
