After his team beat the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Tuesday night, Ohio Bobcat men’s head coach Saul Phillips was asked about the value of junior forward Tony Campbell being able to score in a variety of ways.
He paused for a moment before answering with a good-natured smirk.
“To put the ball in the hoop in as many ways as he does is a gift,” the coach said. “A veritable smorgasbord of offensive moves. He’s got more weapons to select from than Golden Corral has entrees.”
Phillips, of course, was just having some fun in answering a question after Ohio (17-8, 8-5 Mid-American Conference) stomped the Eagles and picked up its sixth win in the last seven games.
