Antonio Campbell elected to wear glo-sticks fashioned into a pair of sun glasses during the post-game press conference.
Why wouldn’t he? After the show he put on Tuesday night, the Bobcats’ future is definitely looking brighter.
Campbell scored a career-high 28 points, and crushed the second half, as Ohio downed visiting Kent State, 72-61, inside a raucous Convocation Center. Campbell scored 22 points, on 8 of 11 shooting, in the second half as the Bobcats bumped off the Mid-American Conference leader.
“Obviously Tony Campbell was unbelievable,” Ohio head coach Saul Phillips said. “(The players) have so much confidence in Tone, they do.
