‘Big Tone’ is hoping to hit the Big Time.
Antonio Campbell, a junior forward with the Ohio University men’s basketball team, announced his intention to declare for the 2016 NBA Draft on Wednesday. He won’t hire an agent however, in a desire to maintain his NCAA eligibility for his 2016-17 senior season.
As long as Campbell doesn’t retain an agent, and withdraws his name from the draft by May 25, he’ll be able to return to Ohio for his final season. The NCAA, this year, adopted new protocols that clearly identify for players what activities are allowed if they wish to return to college.
