Senior Day at the Convo for the Ohio Bobcat women’s basketball team started as a jovial affair. The team’s three seniors – Kiyanna Black, Mariah Harris and Lexie Baldwin – were joined at half court Saturday afternoon by their family and honored. Everyone seemed happy.
After the enuing game against the Buffalo Bulls, however, the Bobcats weren’t in such a good mood.
“[The locker room] is silent,” junior guard Quiera Lampkins said after the game.
Ohio (22-5, 14-2 Mid-American Conference) lost to Buffalo (15-12, 7-9 MAC) 70-58 in a game that mirrored their loss earlier this season to the Bulls.
