he Ohio Bobcat women’s basketball team was the dominant force in the Mid-American Conference this season. Even when they struggled, they found ways to pull out games and stay a few steps ahead of the rest of the conference. When the regular season ended, Ohio entered the conference tournament as the No. 1 seed, having only lost two games in the MAC all season.
The problem? The Bobcats’ two losses both came against the Buffalo Bulls. An even bigger problem? In two games against Buffalo, Ohio never figured out a way to deal with the Bulls’ grinding, pesky brand of basketball.
