Ohio State picked up four early runs and made the lead stand up on Tuesday.
The Buckeyes picked up a non-league win, 6-3, over Ohio University in front of 2,348 at Bob Wren Stadium.
The Bobcats gave up two runs in each the first and second innings. Ohio State’s Ryan Feltner made it difficult for Ohio to mount a comeback.
Feltner picked up the pitching win. He gave up one run on five hits and one walk in 5 2-3 innings. He recorded one strikeout, improving to 1-1 on the season.
Ohio’s Jacik Logan took the loss, and fell to 2-1.
