OLEAN, N.Y. — The Bobcats played a true road game for the first time this season, and their problem with turnovers tagged along for the ride.
Saddled with nine second-half turnovers, Ohio fell by the wayside in the second 20 minutes of an 81-68 loss to St. Bonaventure inside the Reilly Center on Saturday afternoon.
It was the biggest loss of the season for the Bobcats (4-3), who finished with 13 giveaways that led to 20 points for the Bonnies (5-2).
“We’re living in Groundhog Day here,” Phillips said in a postgame radio interview. “We had four turnovers in the first, then nine in the second which led to them getting out in transition.
