Lost in the hubbub of the 2016 Mid-American Conference Tournament last week was the small fact that Ohio junior forward Kenny Kaminski played for the first time this season without a certain piece of gear.
Kaminski played without the brace on his right shoulder, which has been constant since a preseason injury threatened his 2015-16 campaign. But with a season in the books, and the shoulder feeling “okay” Kaminski suited up for the Bobcats’ biggest week of the year without it.
“We kind of just put all our chips in the middle and rolled with it,” Ohio head coach Saul Phillips said.
