At the beginning of the afternoon, it was perfect.
The sun was brilliant, blue skies shined overhead and the Bobcats had a chance against the top team in the Mid-American Conference.
Five hours later, a heavy gray had settled over everything complete with a cold drizzle. And Ohio? The Bobcats’ afternoon reflected the change in the weather.
“It was a lot like this weather, gray and dreary,” said Ohio head coach Kenzie Roark.
Visiting Miami swept a doubleheader from Ohio — by 9-0 and 6-1 counts — on Saturday at the Ohio Softball Field. The RedHawks (28-14, 13-4 MAC) solidified their hold on the top spot in the MAC with the pair of impressive wins.
