At times this year, the Ohio Bobcat men have played, and won, like a team older than they actually are. Despite having one senior – forward Treg Setty – on the roster and a numerous underclassmen who have yet to play in games that matter, the Bobcats on occasion have looked like a team ready to win now. A good example was last Friday’s victory over Kent State in the Convo.
Tuesday night was not one of those nights. In a 80-68 loss to the MAC East-leading Akron Zips, the Bobcats exposed their youth and showed that the team has yet to fully figure itself out, leaving numerous opportunities on the table in areas they normally succeed in.
