After a season of struggles, Ohio Head Coach Frank Solich finally watched his team play like the Bobcats who were voted to win the Mid-American Conference championship.
“I think our guys played very well today,” Solich said after the convincing 49-14 Homecoming victory over Bowling Green Saturday in Peden Stadium. “It might have been the first four-quarter ballgame we’ve played at this level. That was really good to see. I thought all three units did some excellent things. Offense, defense and special teams, as you go through it all, they played a complete ball game.”
Ohio pulled off a Homecoming beat-down of the Bowling Green Falcons in front of nearly 20,000 fans on a chilly fall day.
