The Howard Univesity Bison, a Division I – FCS opponent, what should have been a easy game, took a 22-17 lead into halftime. The Bobcats ended up victorious 38-32, but it was not a “feel good” win.
Junior quarterback Nathan Rourke started for the Bobcats, but did not finish after a disappointing showing. Rourke was 2-8 passing for 44 yards and took a backseat after being replaced in the second quarter.
Howard jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter before Ohio got on the board with a 22-yard field goal from redshirt junior kicker Louie Zervos.
