Ohio University begins its 122nd season of intercollegiate football — in earnest anyway — on Thursday with the first official practice of the 2016 season.
For the Bobcats, and now 12th-year head coach Frank Solich, the ultimate goal is the same as it's been for the last decade.
“The season is a success if we win the MAC East,” said junior linebacker Quentin Poling.
“It’s all about getting a MAC Championship,” said senior wide receiver Jordan Reid.
Ohio, 8-5 a year ago, is positioned to challenge again for a divisional title and a bowl game slot.
