Bobcats need offense for MAC's second half

With the Mid-American Conference season at its halfway point, the Bobcats are struggling to find ways to keep pace.

Ohio (11-10, 3-6 MAC) will have a ‘bye’ on Tuesday — no scheduled game — and it comes at a good time. The Bobcats have floundered offensively in big swaths of the 2018-19 season. And with the in-depth scouting that accompanies conference play, those offensive short-comings have been magnified.

Ohio has scored more than 70 points just once in nine conference games. The Bobcats are last in the MAC in scoring (69.9 ppg) and offensive efficiency (95.0 points on 100 possessions, 312th nationally).
