Upon further reflection, Frank Solich agreed with many Ohio fans’ sentiments following the Bobcats’ 34-30 loss on Saturday at Cincinnati.
“We should have won it,” Solich said Monday, during his weekly press conference at Peden Stadium. “You don’t get on the one-foot line very often with downs to go and don’t make it work.”

Ohio had a chance to steal back the game — the Bobcats led 21-0 and 24-7 at the half before falling behind late — but scuttled a first-and-goal opportunity from the UC 2-yard line with 90 seconds remaining.
