The Ohio Bobcats showed off the good, the bad and the ugly Saturday in Cincinnati against the Cincinnati Bearcats. Ohio jumped out of the gates for the first time all season, stumbled in the second half, and blew a three-score lead to fall 34-30.
Cincinnati (4-0) had been favored over Ohio (1-2) by a touchdown before the game.
While preseason rankings placed Ohio as the favorite to win the Mid-American Conference, the first two games of the season failed to validate the positive predictions. The Bobcats have had issues starting games slowly, allowing big touchdowns on defense, and having to play from behind late in games.
