Bobcats hold second scrimmage

It came a couple days later than anticipated, but the Ohio University football team was able to hold a second scrimmage during fall camp.

The Bobcats used the opportunity, held under the mid-afternoon sun inside Peden Stadium on Thursday, to focus on specific down-and-distance situations — especially those inside the 20-yard line on both sides of the field.

Ohio spent the bulk of its scrimmage time between the goal line and the 20, head coach Frank Solich said, for a reason.

“We’ve got to become a better goal-line team, in terms of offense and defense,” he said.
