For the ninth time in 10 seasons, the Ohio Bobcats will play in a bowl game to end their season. Ohio accepted a bid to play in the DXL Frisco Bowl against San Diego State in Frisco, Texas, on Wednesday, Dec. 19.
The Bobcats (8-4) likely will be favored over the Aztecs (7-5) in a game that will position Ohio’s power running game against an SDSU rushing defense that allowed fewer than 100 rushing yards per game in the regular season.
“We’re excited about going to the Frisco Bowl,” Ohio Head Coach Frank Solich said at a press conference on Tuesday.
