The Bobcats were playing the way a last-minute holiday shopper tries to squeeze in one more excursion to look for gifts.
But with a little patience, Ohio was able to put a bow on a 71-53 win over Cleveland State on Saturday afternoon inside the Convocation Center.
The Bobcats (7-2) trailed for a mere 37 seconds at the start, and played with a lead over the final 38 minutes to remain undefeated (6-0) at home this season. Still, a season-high 23 turnovers — nine more than the previous worst mark — led to plenty of groaning in the stands and on the bench.
