Bobcats go big with 2016 recruiting class

You want Signing Day sizzle? Check out the dog and pony show Jim Harbaugh was producing in Ann Arbor on Wednesday.

Or maybe you could watch breathless television analysts rate, and hyperventilate, about the latest 5-star to pick Alabama instead of Auburn.

But in Athens, inside Peden Stadium, it was business as usual as Ohio University head football coach Frank Solich unveiled another meat-and-potatoes recruiting class on the most hyperbole-packed day on the college football calendar.

Ohio announced 25 new additions to the program on Wednesday. Five members of the 2016 class had already enrolled at Ohio, and four more are labeled as preferred walk-ons — meaning they’ll get an invite to fall camp but not an immediate scholarship.
