Due to how the Mid-American Conference decided to set up the conference schedule this season, Ohio has been able to avoid preseason favorite Buffalo for most of the season.
That ends on Tuesday. The Bobcats (11-13, 3-9 MAC) will be at No. 25 Buffalo (22-3, 10-2 MAC) for the first of two matchups with the Bulls just 15 days apart in a 7 p.m. start at Alumni Arena.
It’s not a great time for Ohio to be facing Buffalo, the program that has won the MAC Tournament in three of the last four years and a winner in the NCAA Tournament a year ago.
