The Bobcats have yet to begin full-fledged preparations for the 2016 Dollar General Bowl, but they’re already facing problems.
Three members of the Ohio University football team were arrested on charges stemming from an alleged aggravated robbery early Wednesday morning. Redshirt freshman offensive lineman Jacob Ready and freshman offensive lineman De’Smond Noel were arrested Wednesday. Redshirt freshman wide receiver Kyle Belack was arrested on Thursday.
The three players were allegedly part of a four-person robbery executed in the early morning hours on Wednesday. Ohio head coach Frank Solich has not talked publicly about the incident yet, and Ohio Athletics has offered no statement other than the three players are suspended indefinitely.
