The Ohio Bobcats (1-0) sat on the couches instead of the benches for week two of the newly hatched college football season.
Ohio drew a short straw with a bye week after its first game. While Coach Frank Solich and the team may not have played, they could have some takeaways from the weekend’s play.
Ohio’s remaining opponents this season went a combined 4-8 in week two. Those games included Howard University, the Bobcats’ week one opponent, getting beat by Kent State, and Cincinnati defeating Miami of Ohio. Ohio will play those three this season, having already played and beat Howard.
