The Bobcats are running out of time to find some offensive mojo, and to make a run for a spot in the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
Ohio (20-23, 8-10 MAC) dropped two of three games at rival Miami over the weekend. The Bobcats were held to just seven total runs and 16 total hits over the three games — 27 innings.
The results left Ohio tied for seventh place in the overall conference standings, and only the top six teams are locked into spots for the MAC Tournament.
Kent State (13-5) leads the league, while Miami and Central Michigan (11-7) are tied for second.
