Taken at a the micro level, there have been plenty of highlights for the Ohio defense this season.
For instance, sophomore cornerback Jamal Hudson played textbook man coverage on a deep throw down the sideline at Cincinnati on Saturday, and made an athletic play on the ball for his first collegiate interception.
“That was great,” said Hudson, a second-year player from Miami, Fla. “I’m really excited about it, but at the same time I’m real humbled about it because I want to add more.”
