At a macro level, things are just fine for the Bobcats.
Ohio (6-2) is one game ahead of where it was at this point a year ago, and the Bobcats already have a strong belief in who they are and what they can accomplish. The record is the best in three years, after eight games, for head coach Saul Phillips.
But at a micro level, there are plenty of things that have led to anxious moments throughout the first month of the season.
For example, the overall defensive numbers are better than last season. But there are still stretches where the Bobcats will let a key member of the scouting report go off for a hot stretch.
