Hosting Northern Illinois (8-7, 1-1 MAC) in the home conference opener, Ohio (8-6, 1-1 MAC) took a 78-68 victory.
The Bobcats looked like a new team on Saturday. Coming off of a poor scoring performance in the loss to CMU, Ohio shot 56.
