Bobcat men keep Broncos winless in the MAC

Free throws played the key role late in the game Tuesday night between Ohio and the visiting Western Michigan Broncos. The Bobcats led by as many as 13 in the second half before WMU mounted a comeback, but Ohio still managed an 81-76 win.

The Bobcats (10-8, 2-4 MAC) played inspired basketball, but not early when the Broncos (6-12, 0-6 Mid-American Conference) started the game ahead 15-1. Redshirt junior guard James Gollon entered from the bench and started hitting shots beyond the arc to bring the Bobcats back in.

Gollon nailed three three-point shots with a Doug Taylor layup mixed in.
