The Ohio Bobcats fell 82-74 at Toledo on Tuesday evening. It was a near miracle the game against the MAC West leader came even that close.
Toledo (19-7, 11-2 Mid-American Conference), who also was responsible for a 91-57 victory over the Bobcats on Jan. 16, jumped out to a 15-0 lead in the first five minutes of the game. Ohio (10-15, 3-10 MAC) finally cracked the scoreboard and seemed primed for a comeback.
The Bobcats went on a 13-5 run after falling early. Grad transfer forward Kevin Mickle scored 11 of those 13 points and overall a career-high 24 points.
