Bobcat men fall to Eastern Michigan; now have lost four straight

Despite jumping out to a 12-0 lead at the start of Tuesday’s game at the Convocation Center, the Ohio Bobcat men fell to the Eastern Michigan Eagles 66-57.

If it’s any consolation, and it’s not much, the Bobcats had control of the game over the first six minutes. Ohio led 12-0 and forced Eastern Michigan to have multiple shot-clock violations. Once Eastern finally scored with 13:49 remaining in the half, they went on a 16-4 run to tie the game at 16 points apiece.

The Bobcats and the Eagles traded buckets until Eastern took over. A three-point basket by sophomore guard Teyvion Kirk gave Ohio a 24-22 lead with 3:10 left in the first half.
