Through the season’s first 14 games, the Ohio Bobcats men’s basketball team is off to its best start under third-year coach Saul Phillips. In Ohio’s latest win, over the Buffalo Bulls on Tuesday night, forward Kenny Kaminski hit a contested 18-foot jump shot with 0.8 seconds remaining to seal Ohio’s 74-72 comeback victory on the road.
“I just kind of busted a move, and the ball was in the net,” Kaminski said. “The emotions I’m feeling are incredible.”
Ohio (11-3, 3-0 MAC) trailed for the entire first half and fell behind as much as 15 points in the second half as the Bobcat offense was stagnant for much of the night.
