In its first test away from home this season, the Ohio Bobcat men's basketball team defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 67-61 Friday night at Hank McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta.
The Bobcats (3-0) remain undefeated on the season while handing the Yellow Jackets (2-1) their first loss of the season. Key defensive stops and Ohio’s veteran starting trio of Jaaron Simmons, Antonio Campbell and Kenny Kaminski led the ’Cats to their first road victory over an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent since 2007.
Campbell led Ohio with 25 points and 12 rebounds while continuing to display beautiful pick-and-roll chemistry with point-guard Simmons, who registered 17 points and nine assists.
