It was fun while it lasted for the Ohio Bobcat men’s team. After snapping a six-game losing streak on Friday with a nationally televised win over Bowling Green, Ohio traveled to Kent State on Tuesday. The Bobcats and the Golden Flashes played down to the final buzzer, when Kent State came out on top, 78-73.
Ohio (12-15, 4-11 Mid-American Conference) finished shooting over 50 percent for the second straight game, but Kent (20-8, 9-6 MAC) cleaned up the rebounds and took advantage of its second chances to take down the ’Cats.
Four of Ohio’s five starters scored in double digits.
