D.J. Cooper has found a new home — at least for the summer.
The Washington Wizards announced their full Summer League roster today, and Cooper was one of the 17 players named to the roster. League play starts this weekend.
Cooper graduated from Ohio in 2013 with an impressive collection of awards, some of which include: All-time MAC leader in assists and the all-time leader in assists, steals, games played and started at Ohio University. He ranks 12th and 19th in NCAA Division I assists and steals, respectively.
The Wizards did not have a draft pick this year, but Cooper will take the floor with Washington's 2015 first round pick, Kelly Oubre Jr.
