Basketball 'Cats hope for wins prior to conference play

Ohio University intercollegiate athletics are riding high after the Bobcats’ 41-6 football victory over the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the Bahamas Bowl on Dec. 22 (the only MAC bowl participant to win in this bowl season). Now, the women and men’s basketball Bobcats look to end their non-conference seasons the same way the football squad ended its year. Both teams host games before the start of Mid-American Conference play later this week (women) and early next week (men).
