Baseball stopped by Buffalo; Bobcat softball wins two at Toledo

The Ohio University baseball team needs a change in course, and soon.

Visiting Buffalo bopped the Bobcats, 9-3, Friday afternoon in the opener of a three-game series at Bob Wren Stadium. The loss was the third in four games for Ohio, and the seventh setback in the last 10.

The Bobcats (12-17, 2-5 Mid-American Conference) have lost three straight in conference play. Ohio was 2-2 in MAC play, and led 13-4 at Ball State in the fifth inning last Saturday. Since then, the ‘Cats have lost three games and been out scored a combined 43-7.

Buffalo (10-15, 4-3 MAC) scored early, scored often and had the game well in hand by the late innings.
