Locked in an unexpected struggle with Bowling Green, Ohio senior Kiyanna Black took it upon herself to get the Bobcats on track.
Black repeatedly knocked in big second-half shots, and now has helped lead Ohio to back-to-back regular-season Mid-American Conference championships. Black dropped in 22 of her game-high 29 points after halftime as the Bobcats finished off the Falcons, 75-58, inside the Convocation Center on Wednesday night.
For Ohio (23-5, 15-2 MAC) it was a historic victory. The win clinched the MAC regular-season championship for Ohio as well as the No. 1 seed for the 2016 MAC Tournament next week.
