A 30-point effort by Quiera Lampkins helped the Ohio University women's basketball team beat Eastern Michigan 63-49 on Monday night in the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
Ohio will take on Northern Illinois on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the MAC Tournament at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. The game can be watched on BCSN and ESPN3, it can also be heard on WOUB 1340 AM with commentary from Jake Hrmoda and Gabe Genovosi.
With her performance Monday evening, Lampkins moved to No. 2 in all-time points scored in program history with her performance.
“We were very close to going home, and I definitely didn’t want to go home," Lampkins said after the game.
