Jon Gruden’s staff with the 2018 Oakland Raiders is coming together very quickly. He has all three coordinator positions filled and many of his position groups have their leader in place already. However, the Raiders are still without a quarterbacks coach over a week after Gruden was hired. What gives? Are we sure this is a bad thing though?
Wednesday was the first day that the new coordinators of the Raiders met with the media for the first time. Incoming offensive coordinator Greg Olson talked a ton about how this system of Gruden’s is designed to hyper-accelerate Derek Carr‘s growth as a franchise quarterback.
